Bestes von

For you NON-GERMAN SPEAKERS (shame, shame) that would be the BEST OF.

Actually, don’t be ashamed.

I have a confession to make.

I don’t speak German either.

I googled it.

So on this here page I am going to share my best/most popular posts.

We will begin at the beginning, like all good things do.

In March of ’09 I began my blog with an absolutely terrible post (terrible?!?! that does not sound good/best/popular!) about how I was trying the Body for Life program. At this time I did not know about food blogs, or the wonderful food blogging community. This was to come at a later date.

In May of ’09 I began food blogging with a lame post about Memorial Day and a recipe for tuna salad.

Two days later I posted my first photo post. They were also lame, but a part of my history.

Perhaps I should call this section meine Geschichte. Yes that is German for my history. Thanks Google.

Moving on.

On Father’s Day I did a special post for my Dad. Love you Dad!

In July I posted my first video. It features my little sister singing. It’s good for a laugh. I also demonstrated my ability to tie cherry stems in knots with my tongue in the same post.

During that same month I also celebrated my 23rd birthday and hosted my first giveaway.

In August I went to Boston for the Healthy Living Summit. I met many great bloggers and left with many new friends.

You can read about it here, here, here and here.

In September I posted about running, and why I do it. It brought forth some great comments from readers that made me smile. I also told you guys my story and gave you a little background on myself while I was on a family camping trip.

In October I hit PDRs of 15 miles and 17 miles while marathon training! I also ran my first race that I have blogged about, revealed my love for Michael Bublé, went on a fabulous apple picking trip, and carved a pumpkin as well as dressing as 80′s punk rockers for Halloween. October was a busy month!

Moving on. November. FUN TRIP to NASHVEGAS!! I kissed Elvis, visited the Grand Ol’ Opry and ate. A lot.

In December, I ran a marathon, built a snowman, built teeny tiny gingerbread houses, and brought the snuggie back!

I wrapped it all up with a big year end post.

Now let’s see what 2010 holds.

It’s already had a big move, and a fun conference! Oh, and my facebook died and was resurrected.

That’s it for now; but if you have any suggestions of favorite posts please leave a comment, and I will try to add it.

I also plan to add to this section as I continue with my blogging, as I am sure much, much more wonderful material is set to come from this brilliant mind.

Oh, I am so humble.

Mama D. is sometimes embarrassed of me.

I felt I should mention that.
